Patent License Rights Granted to the RTC
RTC is a non profit organization that is working to bring health care technologies to those who often have the greatest needs, and yet the fewest resources.

There are several organizations involved. The patents are owned by MedCom Technology Associates, Inc. With each of their IP products, MedCom has licensed all of the non profit patent rights to RTC and all of the commercial patent rights to Western Medical Care, Inc.  RTC's rights were granted in exchange for a royalty-free copy of the software developed by RTC being passed back to Western Medical Care, Inc.

The patents are:

Additionally,  RTC has licensed the rights to the patent-pending ViPER EHR system and patient controlled PHR system.

RTC intends to share this technology with its constituents and members. All patent rights are otherwise reserved. They will be shared with our constituency and members by direct use of RTC technology, by sublicense or by grant support.
